They are highly ethical, pay attention to detail and are very knowledgeable, especially in employee benefits, which is their area of expertise. I would like to mention here, that Kelly has the extraordinary ability to notice, analyze problems and outline necessary courses of action to resolve problems. A problem that is not necessarily related to Employee Benefits -but she realizes the solution could be beneficial for the company. An example -Kelly became aware the payroll service we were utilizing was not efficient and time consuming. After several conversations on the subject, she made a recommendation of another payroll service which would meet our needs -after I spoke to the other service they actually were more beneficial for E&S. I have dealt with many insurance companies and brokers through my 3 decades of working and The Grigg Group is the best! Kelly, David and the team provide excellent customer service! They are NEVER too busy to speak with you – they go the extra mile to assist with any insurance questions. When I received a $25,000 hospital bill after surgery, David contacted the insurance carrier (who in turn contacted the hospital) and was advised that the most I would owe would be $285. True story! David also contacted my daughter’s doctor’s office about invoices they were sending. After David experienced what my daughter had been experienced, rude/snippy attitudes from the doctor’s office, he let us know that the invoices were resolved and she did not owe anything! Knowing that there are still great, compassionate people in the insurance industry was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend The Grigg Group to anyone and everyone!

“We are a young start up company which means that I’m not an insurance expert. I thought the insurance part would be no big deal at all – just pick up a policy, offer it to the employees and move along. “WRONG”.
We have 25 employees and went with a broker due to a business former business relationship. I was told it really didn’t matte, they’re all selling the same things. Getting the information compiled in a manner that I could present to the employees was a major task. I was getting a bunch of gobbledygook numbers and policies and no explanations – nothing I could present to my employees. We pushed through and had meetings at the 5 different locations. The representative didn’t even expect to attend these meetings, but when pressed he did. The meetings were confusing, troubling and left everyone with more questions. At one point an employee who realized he would be without life insurance for a month questioned what to do, the response was “don’t die”. Maybe that was supposed to be a joke, but it wasn’t funny and showed a lack of concern. I was getting bad advice on billing statements, calculations were incorrect on what was to be withheld from payroll and basically, I was left hanging to “figure it out”. The next month, I fired this representative and went with a company I had met in my initial search, The Grigg Group.
I met Kelly Grigg early on while setting up our company, I felt such a comfortable feeling of knowing I would be cared for and our needs would be looked after. It was my mistake to take the advice that it didn’t matter when I went with the business related broker. The MOMENT I went back to Kelly I again found all my needs being met. All the things I had been told were on my plate – weren’t. Kelly said to look at her as the quarterback of the team when it came to insurance needs. She has watched out for us ever since. All of the employees were thrilled when Kelly met with them because she was honest, up front and new the answers to the questions – as well as treated the employees with the respect they deserve.
I was so relieved to realize that what I thought should happen in having our insurance needs met, was in fact the way it should be. I can’t speak highly enough of Kelly and The Grigg Group. All of her staff is professional, responsive and courteous. There simply is no comparison. They reach out to each employee with their specific needs and questions to make sure they are covered and go well beyond in suggesting ways they could make better choices with medial insurance and procedures. She said to all of the employee’s that if they had a major surgery coming up or some big medical issue, to call her so she can make sure they are getting the best our of their insurance. She immediately found some duplicate coverage in our AFLAC policy that employees were paying for duplicate similar coverage (way beyond what would be expected.
